The library routines
and system calls that you need to implement a BSD Sockets application
are described throughout the guide. In addition, a complete list
of all these routines and system calls is provided in the "Summary
Tables for Library and System Calls" section of chapter
8, "Programming Hints."
The library routines are in the common "c"
library named libc.sl. Therefore,
you do not need to specify any library name on the cc command line
to use these library calls, libc.sl
is used automatically.
