This manual documents procedures for installing and updating your HP-UX operating system and software. For doing "cold installs" which completely overwrite the data on the specified disk(s), the Ignite-UX tool replaces the old Cold Install toolset. It can be used for installing previous 10.x versions, as well.

The following tasks are covered, in the indicated locations:
