In the main Puma window, make sure that a data file is highlighted and then click on Playback Stack Trace. The Playback Stack Trace window appears, as shown in figure Title not available.

The Playback Stack Trace Window

The Playback Stack Trace window replays the execution of the program sample by sample. For each sample point, this window shows the current stack trace, the name of the image or library that is active, and the value of the program counter.

For CMA threaded programs, the Playback Stack Trace window lists the stacktrace, the image or library, and the program counter value for each thread at each sample point. Also, the status of each thread at each sample point (Ready, Running, blocked, or Nonexistent) is indicated by color-coding to the Thread status Key.

Try clicking on the directional arrows at the bottom of the Playback window. Notice how the display changes from one sample point to the next. Click on Pause to stop.

Click on File:Close to close the Playback window and return to the main Puma window.
