This chapter describes the command-line interface to
Puma. Use this interface to perform Puma tasks without the
graphical user interface, for example, invoking Puma in the background
or via a script.
The Puma command-line interface allows you to perform all the data-collection
activities available with the graphical interface, but it has a more limited set of
the analysis activities.
Puma's generated data files are interchangeable between the two
interfaces. You can, therefore, use command-line Puma to collect data and
then use graphical Puma to analyze it.
