You should normally "cold install" release 10.01 or 10.10 only if you have bought a new HP 9000 computer on which the operating system is not already installed; otherwise, you should upgrade. Read the cautionary note below if you are thinking of installing an HP-UX 10.x release onto a system already running a 9.x or earlier version of HP-UX. |
