Performance Enhancements to the HSC FDDI Driver |

The HP-UX Extension Pack includes code that enhances the HSC FDDI driver. These driver modifications increase performance of the FDDI link by up to 20%. The performance enhancement was done by making the driver MBLK-based, whereas previously it was MBUF-based. Other code-path and function-call reductions have further improved performance and scalability. These changes are not directly visible to the user and have no effect on current documentation or support. |
