Printing Conventions for this User's Guide

This convention	Means this
italic text	A book title, emphasized text, or text that you must supply, such as the name of a file.
underlined text	Text that you type exactly as shown. For example, type :SHOWME
computer text	Text that appears on the computer screen.
{{Shaded}}	Represents a push button or function key label, such as {{Field Help}}.
Key	Indicates a key on your keyboard, such as Return.

The descriptions of MPE/iX commands, which use conventional MPE/iX syntax, require more detailed conventions. Look in the book, Commands Reference - HP 3000 Series 9X8LX (B3813-90011) for these.
