A complete executable program contains one main program unit and zero or more other program units, where each of these can be compiled separately. A program unit is one of the following:
Execution of the program starts in the main program and then control can be passed between the main program and the other program units. The Fortran 90 program units, and the transfer of control between them, are described in Chapter 7. |
