There are three types of constructs in Fortran 90. These constructs, CASE, IF, and DO, can optionally be given names. When names are used with the DO construct, they can affect the operation of the CYCLE and EXIT statements.

The construct name appears before the first statement of the construct, followed by a ":" character. It should then be repeated at the end of the final statement of the construct.
