NAME

sccsdiff — compare two versions of an SCCS file

SYNOPSIS

sccsdiff -r SID1 -r SID2 [-p] [-s n] file ...

DESCRIPTION

The sccsdiff command compares two versions of an SCCS file, and generates the differences between the two versions. Any number of SCCS files may be specified, but arguments apply to all files.

-rSID?

SID1 and SID2 specify the deltas of an SCCS file that are to be compared. Versions are passed to bdiff in the order given (see bdiff(1)). The SIDs accepted, and the corresponding version retrieved for the comparison are the same as for get (see get(1)).

-p

Pipe output for each file through pr (see pr(1)).

-sn

n is the file segment size that bdiff passes to diff (see diff(1)). This is useful when diff fails due to a high system load.

EXTERNAL INFLUENCES

International Code Set Support

Single- and multi-byte character code sets are supported with the exception that multi-byte-character file names are not supported.

DIAGNOSTICS

file: No differences

The two versions are identical.

Use sccshelp(1) for explanations.
