When using (Oracle Parallel Server) OPS 8.1.5 64 bit or OPS 8.1.6, set DLM_ENABLED to NO and GMS_ENABLED to NO, then set parameters as defined below.

OPS 8.1.5 64 bit and OPS 8.1.6 Cluster Parameters

Appropriate values must be identified in SAM or in the ASCII cluster configuration file for the following GMS parameters:

DLM Enabled

When using OPS 8.1.5 64 bit or OPS 8.1.6, set this value to NO. In the ASCII cluster configuration file, this parameter is known as DLM_ENABLED.

GMS Enabled

When using OPS 8.1.5 64 bit or OPS 8.1.6 set this value to NO. In the ASCII cluster configuration file, this parameter is known as GMS_ENABLED.

OPS 8.1.5 64 bit and OPS 8.1.6 Cluster Configuration Worksheet

Fill out the OPS 8.1.5 64 bit and OPS 8.1.6 cluster configuration worksheet in cooperation with your HP-UX system administrator and Oracle database administrator. Figure 4-8 “OPS 8.1.5 64 bit and OPS 8.1.6 Cluster Configuration Worksheet” is a sample worksheet filled out. Refer to the appendix, "Appendix E “Blank Planning Worksheets ”" for samples of blank worksheets. Make as many copies as you need. Fill out the worksheet and keep it for future reference.
