If the size of /etc/SnmpAgent.d/snmpd.conf is zero, then the snmp daemon will not work and hence our MIB monitors (mibmond, pkgmond, clustermond, lanmond) will not behave as expected. This may result in loss of persistence requests.

To troubleshoot this problem, check the size of /etc/SnmpAgent.d/snmpd.conf with the following command:

ls -rlt /etc/SnmpAgent.d/snmpd.conf
