To add TiCOD credits to an iCOD system that contains iCOD processors, just order the desired quantity of the TiCOD product for your type of server. Be sure to specify the system serial number, which is required for orders of TiCOD on installed base systems.

iCOD processors that are added on to an existing partition do not automatically include TiCOD licensing. You must follow the TiCOD configuration and licensing procedures (below) on partitions that have iCOD processors added on.

To utilize TiCOD on newly ordered iCOD processors, you first order iCOD processors as you normally do. In addition, order TiCOD licensing separately, in units of 30 processor-days. There is one TiCOD product per class of HP server.

HP-UX Licensing and Support with TiCOD

When you purchase TiCOD, the temporary HP-UX license-to-use is included when iCOD processors are activated under TiCOD. Software licenses for third-party software may be needed. Check with your application software vendor for licensing requirements.
