The HP FDDI Quick Installation card
lists the steps required to install your FDDI hardware and software.
The Quick Installation card refers you to complete descriptions
of the software installation steps in this manual. Use the Quick
Installation card as your primary reference to installation and
configuration procedures. Refer to this manual and the HP-PB
FDDI Adapter Installation Guide for further details.
If this is a new installation, perform all the steps in this
chapter. If you already have an earlier version of HP FDDI/9000
installed, perform the "Checking Installation Prerequisites"
step and the "Loading FDDI Software" step described
in this chapter, then proceed to the verification steps described
in chapter 2.
