New Features and Changes

The HP-UX 10.20 and 11.00 versions of AS/U have both been updated in this release and share the same functionality

64-bit HP-UX 11.00 is now supported.

Member or 'Stand-Alone' server role has been added.

Print spooling now features automatic printer device recovery and printer status time-outs.

Euro symbol support.

High Availability (HA) support. RFC_NetBIOS now includes HA capability on all OS platforms so patch PHNE_16579 is no longer required on 11.0 platforms. In addition, changes have been made to the AS/U monitor template, found at /opt/asu/HA/asu.mon, to prevent unwarranted AS/U switch-overs. If you are using AS/U HA scripts, you should update your asu.mon with the new /opt/asu/HA/asu.mon.

Blobadm utility option added to shrink large database files such as the ACL database (blobadm -qA). Note that a HP-UX patch is required for safe operation of this utility option.

File access performance when using large ACL databases has been improved.
