It is recommended that you bring down the AS/U server when doing a full HP-UX backup in order to make sure the security database and directories are backed up. Integrity of a backup copy of AS/U Security Accounts Database can only be assured when AS/U is stopped while the backup is performed. It is recommended that you back up the subdirectories and files of the following directories: /var/opt/asu/lanman /etc/opt/asu/lanman |
