To stop Advanced Server/9000 services and NetBIOS, make sure you stop the services and then NetBIOS:

  1. Log into your system as root.

  2. To stop the Advanced Server/9000, type:

    net stop server

  3. To stop NetBIOS:

    /opt/lmu/netbios/bin/nbutil -N stop
