Verify that NetWare is running. Log into your system as root. Enter the following commands: nwserverstatus dsadmin -t
If NetWare is running, the SAM Networking Configuration and
File and Print Services windows show the server is "up." Verify that NetWare is connected to the network. Verify that NDS is running and can connect to other
servers. From a NetWare client, run the NetWare shell. You do not have
to log into the server. Change drives to the network drive (for example,
F:) and enter the command:. F:> nlist server
/B Under the heading, Server Name, check that the NetWare
9000 server is listed. If you are using the default, the server
name is the host name.
Verify time synchronization using the command: tsadmin -s Proceed to the next section, "Step 10:
Optional Configuration."
