If you are upgrading your NetWare version 3.12 server to NetWare
version 4.1, you must obtain a new codeword for NetWare version
4.1. Refer to chapter 4 for information about how to obtain a codeword.
Before getting started, make sure you have your NetWare 4.1
Certificate you received with your NetWare version 4.1 upgrade.

When you receive your license codeword, install it as follows:
Write the codeword on your Software Certificate and keep the
certificate for future reference.
Log into the system as root.
Run the license installation utility as follows:
/opt/netware4/bin/nw_lic_install codeword
Where codeword
is the license codeword you received from Hewlett-Packard's
License Administration service.
If you want to change your configuration, refer
to chapter 1. If not, proceed to "Step 5: Start NetWare
4.1" in this chapter.
