Verify that NetWare is running. Log into your system as root. Enter one of the following commands: nwserverstatus dsadmin -t
If NetWare is running, the SAM NetWare Networking Configuration
and File and Print Services windows shows the server is "up." Verify that NetWare is connected to the network. From a NetWare client, run the NetWare shell. You do not have
to log into the server. Change drives to the network drive (for example,
F:) and enter
the command: F:> nlist
server /B Under the heading, Server Name, check that the NetWare
9000 server is listed. If you are using the default, the server
name is the system host name.
Verify time synchronization using the command: tsadmin -s Proceed to the next section, "Step 9: Optional
Configuration."
