The minimum NetWare client PC requirements are:

  • 640 KB memory, DOS 3.0 or higher, high-capacity diskette drive (3.5 inch).

  • Installed and configured LAN card. You need to know what type of LAN card is installed in the PC, and the configured interrupt number, if any. Make sure you have the LAN card documentation and LAN driver software available.

  • If using MS Windows: version 3.0 or 3.1.

  • 1.2 MB free disk space.

To use NVT.EXE from a NetWare client, you need terminal emulator software that supports int14 or int6b, in addition to the minimum requirements for a NetWare client. For additional details, refer to the section "NetWare Virtual Terminal" in this chapter.
