The following are known client support limitations:

  • OS/2 clients are not supported.

  • OS/2 name space is not supported.

  • Macintosh clients are not supported.

  • Packet burst is only supported using Novell's DOS/Windows VLM client version 1.2 or later. Packet burst is not supported with Microsoft version 3.5 NT clients.

NT Clients

To disable packet burst on a Microsoft version 3.5 NT client using Client Services for NetWare:

  1. Start the Registry Editor (version Win32).

  2. Go to the following subkey:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services \NwcWorkstation\Parameters

  3. From the Edit menu, choose Add Value and enter the following:

    Value Name: MaxBurstSize
    Data Type: REG_DWORD
    Value: 0

  4. Exit from the Registry Editor.

  5. Restart the Windows NT client.
