Use at a workstation to add user objects into the Directory
tree from an ASCII import file.
Syntax
UIMPORT [control file] [data file]
Parameter
Use
to
control
file
Specify
the file that gives UIMPORT information on how to load data into
the directory.
data file
Specify
the comma-separated ASCII file that is made up of records containing
attribute values.
Using UIMPORT
If all users have home directories
on the same volume, place the home directory information in the
control file. Otherwise, place home directory information in the
data file.
If you specify home directories in both the control
section and the import section of the control file, the Volume object
name and path given in the control section are used.
