If you currently have a site that uses OpenPix 2.1, there are a couple of strategies for migrating the content to OpenPix ImageIgniter 3.0:

  • You can change the existing OpenPix ActiveX and Java tags to refer to the new IIP server and IIP clients. In this case, you invoke the ActiveX and Java viewers directly, bypassing Adaptive Delivery.

  • You can modify existing image references to conform with the standard OpenPix ImageIgniter 3.0 style. In this case, the modified content will work just as if it had been written specifically for the current version.
