Starting the OSM

You can use the OSM from Netscape 3.0 or later or Internet Explorer 3.01 or later. The URL is based on the hostname of the server where ImageIgniter is running plus the port number used by the OSM (always 17491). For example, if ImageIgniter is running on Server1, use this URL:

http://Server1:17491/OSM

To start the OSM

1. In your browser, enter the OSM URL.

2. When prompted, enter your OpenPix administrator user name and password.

   Your browser displays the OpenPix Service Manager Login page.
