Installation of HP-UX IPSec/9000 includes checking installation prerequisites, loading the HP-UX IPSec/9000 filesets using the swinstall(1M) utility, and completing IPSec/9000 configuration procedures.

NOTE: Systems with 56-bit encryption have IPSec/9000 pre-installed option (Instant Ignition). It is not necessary to load the HP-UX IPSec/9000 filesets on these systems.VirtualVault
If you are installing IPSec/9000 with VirtualVault, a few additional steps are required during product installation and configuration. These steps are described in a Note at the end of each step in the process.
