Complete this step only if you selected RSA signature as your ISAKMP authentication algorithm in Step 6 and are using Entrust certificates. If not, go to "Step 7B: Configuring a VeriSign Certificate", "Step 7C: Configuring a Baltimore Certificate", or "Step7D: Configuring a Preshared Key."

NOTE: Prior to entering information into the Entrust certificate screens, you must have received a Security Startup Package from Entrust containing the Entrust Initialization File, User Name, Reference Number, and Authorization Code. See "Step 5A: Prerequisites for Using Entrust Certificates" for more information on obtaining the Security Startup Package.
  1. Select Certificate Authority from the Options menu.

  2. The Certificates tab is enabled on the IPSec Manager screen. If the Entrust window is not already displayed, click the Entrust tab at the left side of the screen.

  3. Click Specify the Initialization File at the Certificates window to specify the location of the initialization file that you received from the Entrust administrator as part of the security startup package.

  4. Click OK to add the initialization file and return to the Certificates window.

  5. Click Create Entrust Profile on the Certificates window to select the Entrust Profile screen.

  6. Enter a User Name to be used for Entrust operations.

  7. Enter a Password to be used for Entrust operations. The password must:

    1. Have at least 8 characters.

    2. Have at least one upper-case letter or digit.

    3. Have at least one lower-case letter.

    4. Not contain multiple occurrences of the same character in excess of half the length of the password.

    5. Not be the same as the user name.

    6. Not contain a substring of the user name that exceeds half the length of the password.

  8. Enter the Reference Number provided in your Entrust security startup package.

  9. Enter the Authorization Code provided in your Entrust security startup package.

  10. Click Create to create the Entrust Personal Profile. After the file has been created, a message will display the full pathname for the new username.epf file.

Go on to Step 8: Configuring a Certificate ID.
