Complete this step only if you selected Preshared Key as your
ISAKMP authentication algorithm in "Step 6, Configuring
an IPSec Policy." If not, go to "Step 7A: Configuring
an Entrust Certificate", "Step 7B: Configuring
a VeriSign Certificate", or "Step 7C: Configuring
a Baltimore Certificate".
Click the Preshared Key tab at the top of the IPSec Manager
screen to display the current Preshared Keys.
Click Create on the Preshared Keys window to display
the Create ISAKMP Preshared Key window.
Enter the remote IP address for your preshared key.
This is the IP address of the remote system that will share this
preshared key and use it for authentication with the local system.
Enter a key in the window. If you have a key stored
in a text file, click the From File checkbox and click the Browse
button to locate and load the key file. Alternately, you can hand-enter
a key in the blank field.
A preshared key must match the corresponding key configured
on the remote system to compete authentication between the two systems.
Click OK to save the preshared key.
Go on to Step 8: Configuring Boot-up Options.
