This section provides technical specifications for Gigabit Ethernet
cards. The Meaning
of the LEDs | |
The Link LED indicates
the card’s status and must be on for the card to function properly.
Note that there is no Link LED on the 1000Base-T card. In its place
are three LEDs that indicate what speed (10, 100, or 1000 Mbit/s)
the link has been established. The following tables show the LED description and status for
the 1000Base-SX (Table A-1) and
