 » Glossary

Dynamic nPartitions is an optional feature introduced with the September 2007 Operating Environment Update Release (OEUR) to HP-UX 11i v3. The feature enables online changes to the composition of nPartitions through the parolrad command. Dynamic nPartitions requires firmware versions beyond the minimum required for HP-UX 11i v3.

IMPORTANT: HP recommends using the latest version of firmware.
