Features of Free Versus Purchased Product

The free product has the following limitations not present in the purchased product:

  • the maximum number of virtual partitions is two

  • the first partition created must have only one CPU dedicated to it. No additional CPUs can be allocated to this partition at any time.

All other features are fully functional within the given limitations. For example, although you cannot migrate CPUs to the (first) virtual partition with only one CPU dedicated to it, you can migrate CPUs in any bound and unbound combination to and from the other (second) partition.
