This section covers the major points of what is new in vPars A.02.02 relative to vPars A.02.01. For the pre-A.02.02 documentation, please see the HP documentation web site at http://docs.hp.com.

  • The format for hardware paths has changed. For more information, see “Hardware Path Formats ”.

  • Supported Systems:

    The nPartition-able severs rp7410 and rp8400 are now supported.

    For a complete list of supported hardware and their required firmware versions, please see the document HP-UX Virtual Partitions Ordering and Configuration Guide, available at:

    All information on supported hardware and firmware has been moved from this manual to this softcopy document.
