The kadminl_ui window can be opened by executing the following command
at the command line prompt,
# /opt/krb5/admin/kadminl_ui
This window enables you to manage principals. Click on the Principals tab
in the Kerberos Administrator main
window. This window can be used to control principal entries your
principal database by adding principals, editing or deleting existing principals.
- Realm
Select the realm where the principal that you want
to add, change or delete resides.
- List All Button
Click on this button to list all the principals
associated with the realm.
- Search String
Enter characters for locating the principal you
want to either edit or delete. Refer to “Finding
a Principal” for pointers on searching for a principal.
- Search Button
Click on this button, to list all the principals
that match the criteria you enter for in the search string field.
Refer to “Search
Criteria” for additional
information.
- List of Principals
Displays a list of all the principals in the realm
or those that match your search criteria.
- New Button
Click on this button to create a new principal.
- Edit Button
Click on this button to change an existing principal. You
must select a principal, in the List of Principals dialog box, to
enable this button.
- Delete Button
Click on this button to delete an entry. You must
select an entry, in the List of Principals dialog
box, to enable this button.
