This manual describes how to install and configure an MC/ServiceGuard NFS toolkit on a Linux system. MC/ServiceGuard NFS® is a tool kit that allows you to use MC/ServiceGuard to set up highly available NFS servers.

The information presented in this manual assumes you are familiar with MC/ServiceGuard and NFS operations. Refer to your MC/ServiceGuard and/or NFS documentation for additional information.

NOTE: You must set up a MC/ServiceGuard cluster before you can set up Highly Available NFS. For instructions on setting up an MC/ServiceGuard Linux cluster, see the Managing MC/ServiceGuard for Linux manual.

The NFS server programs must also be installed on your Linux system before you install, configure, and test your NFS package. (When installing the Linux, RedHat 7.3 or AdvanceServer 2.1, you select 'NFS Server' option. The RedHat installation program will install both NFS kernel and utility to your system.)
