Separate servers from user machines

Separate your HP-UX AAA server from other servers, such as web, FTP, and mail servers

If possible, use a generic user to run the server, and make the configuration directory only accessible to that user.

Use HTTPS with the Server Manager

Where possible, store hashed passwords

Use the radiusd -c option to define the working directory of the server to a secure location to prevent public access to a core dump.
