This Administrator’s Guide provides a comprehensive reference for configuration and maintenance of the Mobile AAA server. This guide is written with the assumption that you are familiar with the HP-UX environment. HP strongly recommends reading the “HP-UX Mobile AAA Server Getting Started Guide” before using this Administrator’s Guide. The following is a brief description about this guide’s chapters:

  • Chapter 1 describes the content in this guide and explains how to interpret the information.

  • Chapter 2 contains an overview of product

  • Chapter 3 explains how to establish connections to remote servers.

  • Chapter 4 covers running and testing of a server configuration.

  • Chapter 5 covers the configuration screens that define peers, realms, user profiles saved in text files, and server properties.

  • Chapter 6 lists each of the configuration files that you can edit to define information used by the server, like attributes in the server's dictionary and vendors. Each listing describes the files and what entries you enter to specify various server parameters.

  • Chapter 7 covers advanced configuration tasks like configuring HTTPS and proxy servers.

  • Chapter 8 covers monitoring the server and logging.

  • Chapter 9 covers debugging and troubleshooting information.

  • Chapter 10 covers Mobile AAA Attribute-Value pairs.

  • Chapter 11 is a glossary of Mobile AAA terms.

  • Appendix A describes the IETF drafts for the HP-UX Mobile AAA Server A.01.00
