AAA configuration files consist of one or more entries. When accessing these files through the Server Manager interface, the initial screen lists each existing entry and provides controls to open HTML forms. You can write additions and changes to the AAA servers configuration files by entering values in these forms and submitting them to the program. The fields in the HTML forms include text boxes, drop-down lists, and other form controls. Fields with bold labels require values for a complete configuration.

Server Manager stores changes as you work on the server configuration, but does not immediately save them to a remote server. When you select the Load Configuration link from the Navigation Tree, the interface will display a prompt that allows you to select the server configuration you want to edit. Information for the access device, proxies, local realms, users, and server properties items in the loaded configuration will replace the current information for all server configuration items.

After you have made changes to the server configuration items, you will be able to save the modified configuration to any server installation that has an active connection with the Server Manager program. When you select the Save Configuration link, the Server Manager interface will display a prompt that allows you to select which servers to save the configuration changes to.

CAUTION: Save Configuration will save the entire server configuration (access device, proxies, local realms, users, and server properties) to the servers you specify. that allows you to select which servers to save the configuration changes to.

NOTE: If you do not wish to save changes that have been made, you can revert to a previous copy by loading the original configuration.

A running server will not recognize configuration modifications. After the changes have been saved to a server, from the Administration screen, you will have to stop the server and then start it again.

More than one administrator will not be able to edit the same functional area (access device, proxies, local realms, users, server properties) of a servers configuration at the same time. After you access the configuration screens for a functional area, the graphic interface will not allow others to access that functional area until you have moved to a different item.
