Appendix A Compatibility with Agents, OpenVMS

The gWLM A.03.00.00.x CMS runs on HP-UX 11i v1 (B.11.11), HP-UX 11i v2 (B.11.23), and HP-UX 11i v3 (B.11.31). It works with the following versions of the agents:

gWLM A.01.01.02: HP-UX 11i v1, HP-UX 11i v2
gWLM A.01.01.03 / A.01.01.04: OpenVMS Version 7.3-2 and later for Alpha servers, OpenVMS 8.2-1 and later for HP Integrity servers
gWLM A.02.00.00.x: HP-UX 11i v1, HP-UX 11i v2
gWLM A.02.50.00.x: HP-UX 11i v1, HP-UX 11i v2, OpenVMS Version 7.3-2 and later for Alpha servers, OpenVMS 8.2-1 and later for HP Integrity servers
gWLM A.03.00.00.x: HP-UX 11i v1, HP-UX 11i v2, HP-UX 11i v3, OpenVMS Version 7.3-2 and later for Alpha servers, OpenVMS 8.2-1 and later for HP Integrity servers




	NOTE: While gWLM does support earlier agent versions, you are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version.

Using the gWLM A.03.00.00.x CMS does not allow you to use A.03.00.00.x functionality with older agents: The policy combinations and potential compartment types available originally with the older agents are still enforced. Also, nested partitions are generally available only with A.02.50.00.x and later.

Also, all gWLM agents within an SRD must be of the same revision: A gWLM CMS can manage an SRD that uses only A.03.00.00.x agents, A.02.50.00.x agents, and so forth.
