Accessing VM Manager

You access VM Manager through a Web browser.

In SMH, you access VM Manager from the Tools-> menu. Select ->Integrity Virtual Machines ManagementIntegrity Virtual Machine Manager. If you have not set WBEM credentials for each virtual machine, the Set WBEM Credentials page is displayed:

Enter the appropriate information and select OK, or select Cancel.

NOTE: The figures in the following sections display views in SIM. Views in SMH might differ slightly.

In SIM, you access VM Manager from the Tools->VSE Management menu:

The VSE Management: Virtualization Manager page is displayed:

Select the VM Host or virtual machine that you want to manage. For example:

In this example, you can select the VM Host system vse03 by clicking on VM Host. You can select one of the virtual machines running on vse03 by clicking on VM.

When you select a VM Host, the VM Manager VM Host General page is displayed:

The VM Host properties are available by selecting one of the tabs:

The Host General tab displays information about the overall state of the VM Host system.

The Host Virtual Machines tab displays information about the state of virtual machines in the host system.

The Host Network tab shows all mappings from virtual network adapters in the virtual machines to the physical network adapters in the host system.

The Host Storage tab shows all mappings from the virtual storage devices in the virtual machines to the physical storage devices in the host system.
