You navigate VM Manager in the following ways:

  • Click a tab to change to another view.

  • Click a menu in the menu bar below the tab title. This displays more details about the actions you can perform.

  • Click a check box. This selects the object to act on in the view you have chosen.

  • Click a navigation button. Certain views contain Done, Back, Next, and Cancel buttons that you click to perform that action.

  • Click on the top of any column of a table to sort the table by the data in the column. Click on the arrow to reverse the sort order.

  • In SIM, click Go Back in the upper left corner to return to the page previously viewed, or to a specific level, depending on your location. In SMH, select Tools->Integrity Virtual Machines ManagementIntegrity Virtual Machine Manager to return to the Virtual Machine Management or Virtual Machine Manager View.

Avoid using your browser's Back and Forward buttons in VM Manager. When you use these buttons, VM Manager cannot tell that you have changed to a different view. This can cause problems, including incorrect display of objects selected in the current view. Instead, use the links and navigation buttons provided by VM Manager.

You can print any of the VM Host or virtual machine tabs by selecting the View Printer-Friendly button, which redisplays the tab in a format suitable for printing. To print this tab, select the Print button. To switch back, select the View Normal button.
