The guest management software is required on each guest. The guest management
software is provided to ensure that guests have the right patches for the
optimum performance and managability. It enables the hpvmcollect command
on all types of guests. On HP-UX guests, you can also use the hpvminfo command.
The guest management software is installed on the VM Host system in
the /opt/hpvm/guest-images/hpux and /opt/hpvm/guest-images/windows directories.
Each directory contains a README file with instructions on how to install
the guest management software. For more information, see the HP
