The workaround described in the HP Integrity Essentials Capacity Advisor User's Guide Version A.03.00.00, “Chapter 6, Using Capacity Advisor with Serviceguard”, section “Using Serviceguard to Migrate Integrity VM Guests,” marks utilization data for the virtual machine as invalid. Checking the Show Invalid Data box in the Profile Viewer allows you to view the virtual machine's historical utilization, but this data is not used in any statistical or forecasting calculations. While it is possible to mark the data as valid, there may be unforeseen consequences from doing so, such as marking truly invalid data valid, and it must be done very cautiously.
