The ZCOM subsystem does not require any Term entries (Term statement)
in the TTGEN input file. But the Terminal-Definition statement
must be given whether or not any Term entries follow.
It is suggested that one PORTTEST Term entry be specified
for each mux port of a card. The PORTTEST entries are required for
these card types in order to perform the loopback tests that are
used for the base ACC product. For more information about loopback
testing, refer to Chapter 2, Software
Installation and Verification, of the ACC Installation and Configuration Guide under
the sections entitled Installation Verification
and Performing Loopback Test. The MONITOR entries are
used by the watch feature, which is also provided by the ACC Base
Software product. For more information about watch and MONITOR,
refer to Appendix F and the ACC Utilities Reference Guide.
Terminal-Definition Term <ZLU> <MUX>:<PORT>:<Subch> PORTTEST 0000h 0000h 99 0 0 0 0 ”For Lpback Test” Term <ZLU> <MUX>:<PORT>:<Subch> MONITOR 0000h 0000h 01 0 0 0 0 ”Used for Watch” |
The ZLU values must be
unique within the configuration file, and they must fall within
the range specified by the Terminal-ZLU parameter described
above. The MUX and PORT values must have been given in
a PORT statement as described above. (Note that the PORT value for the MONITOR entries
can be any value from 0 to 7, maximum, depending on the interface.)
