This manual contains the following chapters and appendixes:

  • Chapter 1: Overview—presents an overview of the X.25/ACC software, and the features that are supported. It also summarizes the relationship between the X.25/ACC and the X.25/9000 products.

  • Chapter 2: Software Installation and Verification—describes how to install the X.25/ACC software. It also describes how to use the supplied loopback configuration and cable to bring up a loopback test which can be used to verify that the X.25/ACC software and hardware have been installed and are functional.

  • Chapter 3: Configuration Overview—gives an overview of the configuration required to use the X.25/ACC product.

  • Chapter 4: ZCOM Subsystem Configuration—describes the ZCOM Subsystem configuration aspects of configuring the X.25/ACC product. The ttgen configuration files are described in this chapter.

  • Chapter 5: X.25/ACC Configuration—describes the x25init configuration requirements. The x25init configuration parameters are listed. Differences between the X.25/ACC and X.25/9000 products are noted.

  • Chapter 6: Initializing and Shutting Down X.25/ACC—describes how to bring up and shutdown the X.25/ACC Subsystem.

  • Appendix A: N2Z Driver Log Messages, ZCOM X.25 Subroutine Error Codes—contains the messages that may be logged by the nli2zcom driver which is used to provide the X.25/ACC functionality. It also contains a list of ACC X.25 subroutines that may be called by the nli2zcom driver, along with their respective error codes.

  • Appendix B: Files Used by X.25/ACC Subsystem—lists the configuration files, device files, and log files that are used by X.25/ACC.

  • Appendix C: Utilities, Servers, and Scripts—contains a list of utility programs, server programs and scripts that are used by the X.25/ACC Subsystem.

  • Appendix D: Tuning and Sizing—lists parameters that can be modified for the ACC Mux Subsystem and X.25/ACC Subsystem to reflect the system requirements.

  • Appendix E: MUX Port Configuration—describes how to reconfigure an ACC MUX port on the fly for those applications running in a high-availability configuration.

  • Appendix F: ACC Service Guard Configuration Notes—provides an example of using zconfig() in a Service Guard clustered environment.
