The following list summarizes the parameters that are provided
in the x25init configuration
files. There are parameters that are used by the X.25/9000 product
that are not shown here. These parameters are ignored by the ACC
Mux drivers when x25init is
executed; they have no effect whether defined or not. A detailed
explanation of each parameter can be found in the Installing
and Administering X.25/9000 manual. The default and
valid range of values are as documented in the HP X.25/9000 manuals
unless stated otherwise. - lci

a level 3 inbound packet on a permanent virtual circuit. Valid values
are 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048 or 4096 octets. Default

times a given frame may be transmitted before an error condition
is identified. The valid range is limited to 1-31. Default is 20. - reverse_charge_accept
Specifies whether or not reverse charging is accepted.
Default is disabled. - t1
The t1 parameter specifies the amount of time to
wait for acknowledgment of a HDLC frame. The ACC Mux subsystem uses
different units to set this value than the other X.25/9000 interface
cards. The closest approximation to the value specified will be
used. The algorithm used by the ACC Mux subsystem for setting t1
is listed below. Default value is 3000 ms. 20 ms. £ t1 £ 1260 ms. Nearest
20 ms. increment is used. 200 ms. £ t1 £ 12600 ms. Nearest
200 ms. increment is used. - t2
The T2 timer parameter specifies the amount of time available
at the DTE or DCE/remote DTE before acknowledging frame must be
initiated in order to ensure its receipt by the DCE/remote DTE or
DTE, respectively, prior to Timer T1 running out at the DCE/remote
DTE or DTE. Note that timer T2 must be less than T1. The value used
is T1/2. - t3
The t3 (DCE) / t4 (DTE) parameter is a level 2 parameter
to specify the line idle time. It is used to identify an excessive
period of no-activity on the data link, suggesting a possible faulty
data link or physical link condition. The value of T3/T4 should
be greater than T1 and may be very large for applications which are
not concerned with early detection of faulty data link or physical
link conditions. - thruputclass

peers. Default is off. - X.121
Specifies the X.121 address for the subsystem. No default
value. - X.121_packet
Specifies the X.121 packet address of some networks having
special characteristics, such as TransPac. Default value is the
X.121 address.
 | | | | | NOTE: Each X.25 link must have a unique X.121 address for
connection to a data network. | | | | |
