Monitor Description | Configuration Files

Monitor Description

The Core Hardware monitor will run on an IA-64 system and monitors hardware errors logged by various sensors on the system to the System Event Log (SEL). On the non-cellualr systems, the monitor will report the following errors from the SEL:

On cellualr systems, these errors will be reported to the Forward Progress Log (FPL). The monitor will make these available to the FPL Monitor (fpl_em) for further processing.
