本指南说明如何配置 Serviceguard 以便在运行 HP-UX 操作系统的 HP 9000 或 HP Integrity 服务器上运行。包括如下内容：

第 1 章“第 1 章“Serviceguard 概览””介绍 Serviceguard 群集，并为使用本指南提供指导。
第 2 章“第 2 章“了解 Serviceguard 硬件配置””概述 Serviceguard 所使用的硬件
配置。
第 3 章“第 3 章“了解 Serviceguard 的软件组件””介绍 Serviceguard 的软件组件，并说明这些组件在 HP-UX 操作系统中的运行方式。
第 4 章“第 4 章“规划和记录 HA 群集 ””分步介绍规划过程，并提供一组用于组织群集信息的工作表。
第 5 章“第 5 章“建立 HA 群集配置””介绍如何创建群集配置。本版本在“编辑安全文件”中增加了更新信息。
第 6 章“第 6 章“配置程序包及其服务””介绍如何创建高可用性程序包及其相关控制脚本。
第 7 章“第 7 章“群集和程序包维护””介绍基本的群集管理任务。
第 8 章“第 8 章“排除群集故障””介绍群集测试和故障排除策略。
附录 A“附录 A “Serviceguard 命令””列出 Serviceguard 所使用的命令，并从每个联机帮助页中提取摘要信息。
附录 B“附录 B “Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkits ””介绍一组用于创建特定群集配置的工具。
